Throw back colas

I have been enjoying the "throw back" colas. Now, if they would just keep on with that trend and start making them in glass bottles again. If any of you remember the glass bottle, you know what I am talking about. The flavor is so much better. Besides, glass can be reused or recycled just as well as plastic. Plus, the prices of plastic items are going to start going up because of the unrest in the middle east. We all know this because we are already paying for it at the gas pump. I would think it would be better in the long run to use glass again. Glass is not detrimental to the environment. It is naturally occurring. I am not sure of the studies, but I believe the US uses more plastic bottles than any other country. My opinion is glass is better. Plus, there are no toxins that will leak into whatever it is we are drinking. To the cola companies....keep the throw back and add the glass back!

The beginning

Today is Saturday, February 26, 2011. This is my first posting. I would like to share a thought. I have a job in which there is very little talking. So, I tend to think about things in which have caught my interest. Tonight at work I had a thought, that since we are a country based on the constitution, why not try to convince some people to read our constitution, out loud, in public, on the courthouse square on the 4th of July. It seems that most of us have read it once in school. Maybe, had to memorize the preamble for class. But, in all, have WE really read it or listened to what it says. We are told this and that about what it says. Why don't we read it once in a while for all to hear? It wouldn't take a great orator to read. Perhaps the mayor of  town, a citizen, a student from your local school. Whom ever it is does not matter. The point is, what do we know of it?
